Nottingham Forest will face Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in Chesterfield before travelling to southern Portugal for a warm weather training camp later this month as part of the Club’s pre-season preparations.
The Reds will play two additional friendlies as part of the trip, facing Estoril Praia and fellow Premier League side, Fulham.
Forest take on the Cottagers at the Estádio de São Luís on Saturday 26 July with kick-off confirmed for 8pm BST.
Four days later, Nuno Espírito Santo’s side travel to the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira to face Primeira Liga outfit Estoril (kick-off 7pm BST).
The Portuguese side finished eighth in the Primeira Liga in 2024/25 and will provide another tough challenge for Forest as the preparations for the new season continue.
Before heading to Portugal, Nuno Espírito Santo’s side will face Monaco at Chesterfield’s SMH Stadium on Saturday 19 July (kick-off 3pm BST).
The Ligue 1 side will provide another stern test for the Reds having finished the 2024/25 season in third and qualifying for the UEFA Europa League, behind Marseille and UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint Germain.
Last summer, the Reds travelled to Spain for a warm weather training camp which proved key in developing the togetherness of the squad, providing the perfect platform for Nuno’s team to enjoy a standout campaign in 2024/25.
This summer’s training camp will aim to further deepen the bond in the group ahead of a historic 2025/26 campaign to come with Forest competing in a fourth successive Premier League campaign alongside the UEFA Conference League.
The kick-off time of the Reds’ final fixture of pre-season against Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah has moved later and will now kick-off at 7.45pm at the City Ground.
