Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for life under new manager Thomas Frank, with the former Brentford boss replacing Ange Postecoglou after the London-based club came 17th in the Premier League.

Despite winning the Europa League final against Manchester United, earning them Champions League football next season, Spurs decided to sack Postecoglou, with Frank now set to lead their European campaign.

As such, the club have been turning to the transfer market in a big way to prepare his squad for next season.

Already this summer, Spurs have made Mathys Tel’s loan spell permanent for a fee of £30 million, now signing Mohammed Kudus and Morgan Gibbs-White alongside him.

However, that’s not the end of their haul, as Tottenham Hotspur are now looking to Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton as a further reinforcement.

GB News has reported that Frank has been given a hefty £175 million budget to sign Kudus, Gibbs-White and Wharton with the transfers coming thick and fast.

Whilst links between Manchester United and Adam Wharton have cooled off of late, he has been regularly popping up on their shortlist when looking to reinforce the middle of the pitch.

Wharton joined United’s shortlist last summer when The Red Devils were looking for a talented midfielder to partner Kobbie Mainoo in central midfield, however ended up signing Manuel Ugate from PSG.

Despite Ugarte’s signing, United kept an eye on Wharton, even considering a move heading into the summer as The Red Devils looked at a double Palace raid including Eberechi Eze.

Now, United look set to miss out on yet another talented star as the deal for Bryan Mbeumo drags on, stalling The Red Devils’ other potential transfer business.
