Uncertainty reigns supreme in situation with Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona over pursuit of…

According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Luis Diaz has reiterated to Liverpool FC that he is open to a move, but the English powerhouse is not exactly eager to let him go...at least not yet:

Understand Luis #Diaz has once again made it clear that he is open to leaving Liverpool if a really exciting offer arrives. #LFC have been informed. However, they have blocked everything so far (FC Bayern, Barcelona, etc.)

Max Eberl has held new talks with Diaz’s management in recent days. As reported, Bayern remain keen on Diaz. There are still no agreements or offers. It is complicated, but Bayern are trying.

The Diaz situation will likely linger for a bit, but Bayern Munich does not have time to waste chasing ghosts. With FC Barcelona also in on the player, the Bavarians need to determine whether or not Diaz is a serious option.

Looking for more thoughts and discussion on Max Eberl’s plan to acquire Nick Woltemade and then immediately loan him back to VfB Stuttgart? What about a discussion on the bizarre stories surrounding Bayern’s rumored interest in Liverpool FC’s Luis Diaz and why Christopher Nkunku could work, but maybe not as a wing?
