Noni Madueke is poised to join Arsenal after the Gunners agreed a fee to sign the winger from Chelsea.
The England international emerged as a shock target for the Gunners who have moved quickly to wrap up a deal.
Personal terms for the move across the capital were agreed last week with the London rivals holding talks over a transfer fee in recent days.
An agreement has now been struck, Fabrizio Romano reports, with Chelsea accepting Arsenal’s offer which is in excess of £50million with add-ons included.
Madueke will now sign a five-year deal to become the sixth player to swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates during Mikel Arteta’s reign in north London.

The 23-year-old will become Arsenal’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window with Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi already sealing their moves.
The Gunners have also stepped up their pursuit of Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres in recent days.
Noni Madueke’s 2024-25 Premier League stats
Arteta has been eager for the club to bring in another wide option this summer having also shown interest in Real Madrid star Rodrygo and Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.
In Madueke, Arsenal are signing a player who has played the majority of his senior football on the right – the position Bukayo Saka takes up in red and white.
While Madueke did play some games for Chelsea on the left towards the end of the 2024-25 season, some Arsenal supporters have questioned the logic behind the transfer.
Where will Noni Madueke play for Arsenal?
It has been widely reported that Arsenal want a winger capable of improving the left side of their attack and providing cover for Saka on the right.

In all competitions last season, Madueke registered 11 goals and five assists, scoring four in the Europa Conference League in addition to his seven in the Premier League. All of his goal contributions came while playing on the right. Seven appearances on the left drew a blank.
In Premier League games last term, Madueke attempted 63 crosses into the box – 11 of which were successful. Not one attempt from the left side of the pitch found its attempted target.
Madueke started on the left in a run of four Premier League games towards the end of last season, a pivotal juncture where the Blues were still scrapping for Champions League qualification.
Chelsea won three of those four games but the winger registered zero goal contributions and zero successful crosses.
