Five-time NBA All-Star Klay Thompson is dating a famous, Grammy-winning rapper, according to TMZ.
The Dallas Mavericks guard is in a relationship with rapper Megan Thee Stallion, TMZ reports. Thompson was spotted in the background of a picture Megan Thee Stallion posted on Instagram earlier this week.
TMZ confirmed that it is indeed Klay Thompson in the background of the photo and that the two are dating. Thompson, who just completed his first season with the Dallas Mavericks, is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.
The 6-foot-5, 220 pound shooting guard won four NBA titles during his time with the Golden State Warriors prior to joining the Mavericks. He played for the Warriors from 2011-2024, teaming up with Steph Curry to form the best shooting duo in NBA history.
Thompson is averaging 19.1 points per game over the course of his career. He has shot 41.1 percent from 3-point range across his 13 seasons in the NBA.
As for Megan Thee Stallion, she has won three Grammy awards and been nominated for a Grammy six times.
She earned the honors of Best Rap Song, Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance at the 63rd Grammy awards.
Klay Thompson is not the first NBA player Megan Thee Stallion has been involved with. She previously was linked to veteran NBA forward Torrey Craig, according to TMZ.
