Leeds United will make no secret of the fact that they want to sign a striker this summer.
So far, Leeds’ business has been underwhelming, though with over a month until the Premier League campaign gets underway, time is still on their side.
Defensive reinforcements have seemingly been the early priority for Daniel Farke, who will now surely look towards attacking targets.
Signing a striker is an absolute must for the Whites, and courtesy of Evan Ferguson, they may have just been handed a boost.

Roma close in on Ferguson deal
Ferguson was linked with a move to Leeds early in the summer, though those links quickly died down, with a move to Roma now looking likely.

Leeds have spent just £30million so far this summer, while failing to bring anyone to Elland Road capable of getting supporters off their seats.
Several more additions are needed this summer, with a new goalkeeper and striker at the very top of the list of priorities.
As many as six players could leave Leeds in the coming weeks, which would provide additional funds to be used elsewhere, and it is crucial that the Whites spend it wisely.
