Wolves in competition with AC Milan for left-back – Vítor Pereira’s side keen on player

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the race to sign KAA Gent’s Archie Brown this summer.

The Premier League club sold Rayan Aït-Nouri to Manchester City last month. Hugo Bueno, who returned to Wolves after a loan spell at Feyenoord, is currently the only left-back at Molineux.

Wolves have to bring in at least one new left-back in this window and this may have encouraged them to focus on Brown.

MilanNews.it now mention Wolves when covering AC Milan’s desire to sign the 23-year-old.

On Thursday, Theo Hernández left the San Siro and completed a move to Al-Hilal, leaving the Rossoneri to look for his replacement. Brown has been identified as the main target by the Italian club.

MilanNews.it have found out that Wolves and Fenerbahçe are also keen on securing the fullback’s services. Therefore, Milan have to ‘beat off competition’ from Vítor Pereira’s side and the Turkish club to sign Brown this summer.

The Englishman has two years left on his contract and the report states he’s valued at €8-10m. The price should certainly be affordable for Wolves, who have to convince Brown to get the deal over the line.
