Compared to last year, Leeds United have wrapped up a lot of their business early this summer. Last summer’s window saw a lack of activity for the early weeks.
Daniel Farke had to step in and push for signings after Leeds lost some of their best players in the summer. Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter all joined Premier League teams, weakening the quality of the Whites’ squad.

But Farke got his wish as there was a flurry of activity completed near the end of the window. The Leeds boss was instrumental in brining in Ao Tanaka and Manor Solomon, two players who would be crucial to winning the league.
So far, Leeds have completed four transfer deals as they begin preparations for pre-season this week.

Since the end of last season, Illan Meslier has been tipped to leave the club. After being benched by Daniel Farke, many expected the Frenchman to have left the club this summer. But he remains in West Yorkshire.
Leeds have had their eye on a host of goalkeepers this week, including Lucas Perri and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.
According to Foot Mercato, Leeds and Aston Villa are pursuing Brest goalkeeper Marco Bizot. The report also adds that Villa are in pole position to sign the Dutchman. There is no word if Bizot will replace Emi Martinez, who has been linked with an exit.
L’Equipe also add that Unai Emery’s side could seal the transfer in the ‘coming hours’.
Leeds need to find a goalkeeper soon
With pre-season about to be in full swing, many would have thought a new keeper would be a priority. But so far, Leeds have improved almost every other position.
A new number one will be crucial, as it could make or break the club during their time in the Premier League.
Marco Bizot raises red flags
The 34-year old does not give the impression of a player who will be signed to become a first choice keeper in the Premier League. His statistics are not eye-catching.

His distribution is fantastic, and he is prolific at sweeping off his line, but the rest of his game is questionable. Bizot has one of the rankings for save percentage and goals prevented.
For a keeper that will be signed to a newly-promoted club, lacking excellent shot stopping abilities will be a serious problem.
