Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has demanded that the club make a move to sign Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister as soon as possible this summer, according to Fichajes.net.
The Reds are coming off a hugely successful season under Arne Slot in 2024/25 as they claimed the Premier League title during his first season in charge at Anfield, and they have already strengthened their squad with the additions of Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
But now they are looking at potential departures away from the club, and they face a huge battle to keep hold of their Argentine midfield maestro.

Mac Allister, who has been described as 'one of the best midfielders on the planet', has been a key member of the Liverpool midfield since his move from Brighton in 2023, but he has now emerged as a target for European giants Real Madrid.
According to the report from Spain, Alonso was furious with his team's performance in the Club World Cup semi-final defeat to PSG and has demanded that the club act accordingly in the transfer window to respond.
The former Liverpool midfielder, who took over at the Bernabeu this summer from Carlo Ancelotti, has identified the Argentina international as the man he wants to be the heartbeat of his midfield, and the club are now preparing a €100m (£86m) offer for him.

It's believed they could even be willing to go higher with their offer if they are able to sell players, with Dani Ceballos and Brahim Diaz both mentioned as potential exits alongside Rodrygo.
It's also understood that Real Madrid feel that Mac Allister would be open to joining Real Madrid this summer if a deal could be agreed between the clubs, although he is also happy at Anfield and wouldn't push to make a move happen.
Alonso wants Mac Allister, and Real Madrid are ready to make it happen, so it will be interesting to see how Liverpool respond to a mega bid.
