Eagles 2025 Training Camp Position Preview: Offensive Line

New to the Nest

The Eagles acquired former first-round pick Kenyon Green in a trade with the Houston Texans this offseason. The 15th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M, Green (6-4, 325) has 23 starts at left guard under his belt. Green will look to follow in the footsteps of Becton, as a former first-round pick who found his footing in Philadelphia.

Even with four of five offensive line starters signed to long-term extensions, the Eagles used the 2025 NFL Draft to build depth and prepare for the future in selecting center/guard Drew Kendall and tackles Myles Hinton and Cameron Williams. Kendall (6-4, 308 pounds) started 37 games at center at Boston College and his father, Pete, was a former first-round pick of the Seahawks. Hinton (6-7, 323 pounds) was a two-year starter at right tackle at Stanford before taking over the left tackle spot in his second season at Michigan. Like Kendall, Hinton's father, Chris, played in the NFL and was an eight-time All-Pro. Williams (6-6, 317 pounds) started all 15 games this past season for the Texas Longhorns. The Eagles also signed tackle Hollin Pierce (6-8, 341 pounds) and offensive lineman Marcus Tate (6-5, 321 pounds) following the NFL Draft.

Veteran Kendall Lamm brings a wealth of experience to the Eagles. The former Texan, Brown, Titan, and Dolphin has played 119 regular-season games over 10 NFL seasons with starts at both tackle positions.

Matt Pryor is new to the nest in 2025, but he started his career as a sixth-round pick of the Eagles in 2018. He played in 27 games (10 starts) over two seasons for the Eagles before spending time with the Colts, 49ers, and Bears. This past year, he started 14 games for Chicago and logged more than 1,000 offensive snaps for the first time in his career.

"I feel like that's been the mindset since we got back. Last year's team won the Super Bowl and we celebrated and then, like it is every year, time to move on. This is a different team. We haven't done anything yet." – Lane Johnson
