Manchester United wantaway forward Marcus Rashford was spotted driving into Carrington on Thursday for another solo training session.

The forward arrived at the training ground at 4.47pm, just eight minutes after manager Ruben Amorim had left. Despite speculation, United insiders have dismissed rumours that Rashford was there to discuss his future, stating that the 27-year-old has been training alone in the afternoons this week.

Rashford entered through the back gate of Carrington, while Amorim exited through the front. Tensions between Amorim and Rashford began to rise in mid-December when the homegrown talent was dropped from the squad for the Manchester derby at the Etihad, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Following this, Rashford was loaned out to Aston Villa in the January transfer window. The Midlands club had the option to make the move permanent for £40million, but chose not to exercise the clause.

Now, the academy graduate is on the hunt for a new club this summer. Adding to his woes, Rashford no longer has a squad shirt number after United handed the No.10 shirt to new signing Matheus Cunha.

Rashford's last appearance for United was against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on December 12 and it appears to be his final one.

The England international, alongside fellow outcast Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia, made clear their desire to leave after the club decided they would be put up for sale with their futures elsewhere.

Garnacho is rumoured to be considering moves to Chelsea and Napoli, Real Betis are reportedly interested in Antony, and reports from Italy suggest that Sancho has agreed terms with Juventus.

Meanwhile, Malacia appears to be struggling to find potential suitors.

Barcelona are leading the race to sign Marcus Rashford after their top target Nico Williams penned a new 10-year deal with Athletic Bilbao. Liverpool's Luis Diaz is another option, but a recent bid from Bayern Munich was turned down.

Spanish reports suggest that Rashford would be open to taking a significant pay cut on his £325,000-a-week wage to make the move to Barca, who are more interested in a loan agreement as United's asking price is £40m.
