The Jadon Sancho saga continues this summer as the former England international looks to leave Manchester United on a permanent basis after two back-to-back loan deals away from the club.
Firstly, Sancho had a brief stint with his former Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, before returning last summer temporarily to then head to Stamford Bridge.
A season-long loan to Chelsea was agreed, with The Blues holding a £25 million obligation to buy should they finish above 15th place.
Ironically, that’s where Manchester United ended up, with Chelsea coming fourth, triggering the obligation, however, they opted to pay a £5 million penalty to send him back to Old Trafford.
Since then, a lot has come out about the collapse of his move, having helped the side win the UEFA Conference League in a 4-1 win over Real Betis.

However, news emerged that the main cause of the breakdown sat with his wages, with Chelsea and Jadon Sancho disagreeing on his salary to stay at the club.
Now, Ben Jacobs has revealed that the winger was offered between £180,000 and £200,000 per week to stay at Stamford Bridge, which he rejected.
As part of his loan deal, United agreed to continue covering around £120,000 per week of his £300,000 per week salary, with Chelsea picking up the rest.
When negotiating his permanent move to Chelsea, the London-based club offered to continue paying their share of his wages as his new full weekly wage, which was rejected by Sancho.

Now, the 25-year-old finds himself in the same position with Juventus, as the Italian club are more than happy with United’s £25 million valuation of the star, but are in dispute for his wages.
Reports today have surfaced suggesting that Sancho is looking for a severance package of at least £4.3 million from Manchester United to leave the club and accept a wage cut.
However, now Chelsea’s offer has been revealed, we know that Sancho would be looking for over £180,000 per week even if he doesn’t want his full United wage.
