Man Utd have sent a youngster out on loan for the forthcoming season.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with fellow League Two side Accrington Stanley, where he gained valuable experience with three goals in 27 appearances. Manchester World revealed earlier this week Aljofree had been the subject of loan interest from a host of clubs this summer before he opted to move to Meadow Lane.
The young centre-back was a member of the United side that won the Youth Cup in 2022 alongside the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho and has also captained the United U21 side. He previously spent time on loan with non-league Altrincham and featured for United in their pre-season friendlies against Rosenborg and Rangers last summer. He is the second player to leave United on loan this summer after new signing Enzo Kana-Biyik joined Swiss club Lausanne-Sport for the forthcoming campaign.

Sonny Aljofree will hope to hit the ground running with Notts County and could make his debut for the club this weekend when they face FC Kaiserslautern as part of their pre-season tour of Germany.
Taking to social media after his move to Nottingham was made official, the centre-back posed for pictures at Meadow Lane stadium and wrote: "Can’t wait to get to work and wear the shirt."
Notts County were delighted to secure the signing of such a talented defender in the summer transfer window and hope he could play a key role in their promotion bid over the coming campaign. Director of Football Roberto Gagliardi said: “Sonny has all the traits of a modern-day defender – balancing an aggressive playing style with the ability to distribute the ball from the back. He’s capable of playing anywhere across the defensive line, mainly being deployed in a back four for Manchester United but often on the right of a back three during his impressive loan at Accrington.
“Sonny’s maturity is reflected in the leadership roles he’s been given and the high esteem he’s held in by United. Combined with the fact he’s the son of former Plymouth defender, Hasney Aljofree, he has a very strong footballing pedigree. We faced strong competition from a number of League One clubs to sign him and we look forward to supporting his continued development.”
