Arsenal and England star spotted filming advert in North London cafe

Locals passing a popular Muswell Hill cafe may have spotted an Arsenal and England star shooting an advert.

The Broadway Cafe, in Muswell Hill Broadway was transformed into Declan Rice's café for the hook up with dessert brand Müller Rice.

There was rice pudding on the chalkboard menu as the midfielder donned a red apron to help launch their first limited edition flavour in five years.

Rice grew up and still lives in Kingston, but signed for the Gunners from West Ham in July 2023 for a club record fee of £100 million.

Speaking on the launch he said "It’s great to continue my partnership with Müller Rice by launching my own exclusive White Chocolate & Raspberry flavour. I have enjoyed the process and can’t wait for you all to try it!”

When it's not taken over by star footballers, The Broadway Cafe is a traditional old school caff with a reputation for friendly staff who serve epic fry ups, plus kippers, pies, sandwiches and jacket potatoes.

One recent visitor labelled it on Tripadvisor "honest grub," while another said the Cafe served "the best fry up by far!"

The limited-edition Müller Rice Raspberry & White Chocolate flavour is available at Asda from now and will be rolled out to retailers nationwide in September.
