MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx today announced it has signed a multi-year partnership with Jump, the only unified fan experience and ticketing platform purpose-built for professional sports teams. Timberwolves fans will be able to purchase and manage tickets, download a dynamic new team mobile app, and access a new and improved ticketing website, all with one seamless Timberwolves login powered by Jump. With the direct engagement with fans, the Timberwolves and Lynx front offices are able to create bespoke experiences, catered to fans based on their previous interactions and levels of fandoms, breaking the transactional nature of traditional fan relationships.
“With Jump, we’re solving a real challenge for front offices helping teams build stronger, more meaningful connections with their fans. Today’s sports fans expect things to be direct, personalized, and seamless and we’re here to deliver on that. Starting with the Timberwolves and Lynx, we’re not just raising the bar on engagement we’re rethinking what it means for a team to truly connect with the devoted fans that support them,” said Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez, Co-Chairmen of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx and Co-Founders of Jump.
The Timberwolves and Lynx's partnership with Jump is part of a broader shift in professional sports, in which teams are leaning on innovative technologies to remove barriers that keep them from directly engaging with their fans. Jump’s vertical enterprise software model enables teams to have ownership over every fan touchpoint to create targeted offerings, promotions, and custom content that result in a more personalized fan journey. The direct, seamless interactions Jump creates empowers fans to feel more connected to the teams they support than ever before, while ultimately driving revenue for franchises.
"This partnership represents a defining moment not only for Jump but for the broader sports industry,” said Jordy Leiser, Co-Founder and CEO of Jump. “For too long, professional sports teams have been constrained by legacy systems that treat fans as transactions, not relationships. At Jump, we believe sports teams deserve full control over their data and fan relationships, and we’re excited to give them the platform to truly personalize each fan's experience. We're proud to help Marc and Alex usher in a new era of innovation, as they begin their journey as the new owners of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. We share a vision for what's possible when a professional sports franchise truly puts fans at the center of everything they do."
This deal follows Jump’s successful first launch in professional sports with The North Carolina Football Club, operator of the North Carolina Courage of the NWSL and North Carolina FC of the USL Championship, where Jump has been improving business outcomes and enhancing the fan experience for both clubs since the start of their 2025 campaigns.
Jump’s partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves will go into effect when tickets go on sale for the upcoming 2025-2026 season and the company’s partnership with the Minnesota Lynx will go into effect starting with the 2026 season. Tickets to other events at Target Center will continue to be supported by AXS.
