Drone footage captures powerful outpouring of Diogo Jota tributes at Anfield
Liverpool will play their first pre-season fixture against Preston North End at Deepdale on Sunday.
The match will feature extensive tributes to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, who died in a car crash in Spain on 3 July.
Tributes will include a minute's silence, a rendition of “You'll Never Walk Alone”, a wreath-laying by Preston captain Ben Whiteman, and both teams wearing black armbands.
Digital tributes will be displayed on screens and hoardings, and a commemorative matchday programme will be distributed free to ticket holders.
Head coach Arne Slot and several Liverpool players attended Jota's funeral in Portugal, and Steven Gerrard also paid respects at Anfield.
