Chido Obi has got to be one of the most exciting prospects at Manchester United, especially given their current striker crisis.
Rasmus Hojlund has been struggling to perform to the level expected of a first-choice striker, going 21 games straight without grabbing a goal last season.
Joshua Zirkzee has shown some promise, however failed to make an immediate impact at Old Trafford when he moved from Bologna last summer.
As for incoming strikers, United are still yet to sign a new front man this summer as the pursuit of Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has slowed over recent weeks.

Admittedly, Matheus Cunha could step into the role, however targets like Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen and Hugo Ekitike are all headed elsewhere.
However, Chido Obi has already been given his debut under Ruben Amorim last season, with the Denmark international now sitting on the fringe of the first team.
As such, United have now upgraded the 17-year-old’s place in the squad by handing him a new shirt number ahead of the new season.

Announcing the change, Manchester United have taken to their official website, commenting: “Manchester United youngsters Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi will be wearing new shirt numbers, once the action gets back under way.”
The statement continued: “Young striker Obi only finalised his move from Arsenal’s Academy in November but made such an impact at youth level that he was introduced for a senior debut in the away game at Tottenham Hotspur last February.
“The 17-year-old scored his first senior goals in the 3-1 post-season friendly win against Hong Kong, China and performed well for Denmark’s Under-20s at the Maurice Revello Tournament over the summer, which meant he only came back to Carrington on Thursday.
“After previously wearing no.56, he will now be no.32 for the campaign ahead, which begins in earnest with a friendly against Leeds United, in Stockholm, on Saturday 19 July.”
Chido Obi and Tyler Fredricson have both been assigned new squad numbers ahead of the upcoming campaign 👀🔢
