Here a a few odds and ends for a lazy Friday…

The Club World Cup final is on Sunday. the match-up, Chelsea v PSG. My prediction is a 4-1 win for PSG. Chelsea will not be able to withstand the momentum or the offensive prowess of the Parisian side. The Blues will be outgunned, outplayed, out-defended and out-coached for the entire 90 minutes. Take that to the bank.

Once the CW reached the knockout stages the competition finally heated up. Why you ask? Well, finally we had match-ups between some good clubs. Honestly, some of the group stage matches were a joke, and boring to watch. Obviously, some of the 32 clubs invited to the tournament had absolutely no business competing in a world championship. Hopefully, FIFA will come to their senses and design a new formula for inviting teams in 2029.

Arsenal is in the midst of making changes to the squad for the coming season. Hallelujah! However, before the transfer window slams shut I think there is a group of current Gunners who will be packing their bags and heading to other clubs. Who do you think will go from this list? Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Gabriel Jesus, Reiss Nelson. Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli. I think there are a few big surprises yet to come.

This rollercoaster ride to sign Viktor Gyokeres is getting old. Reports surface daily on the ups and downs of this negotiation. Arsenal needs a striker! Period! Spend the cash and put our minds to rest, please, and do it before the team heads to Asia.

And finally. Arteta Out! Are you serious? Some supporters are upset with the lack of trophies and with some of the transfer decisions made during the Arteta Era. I get it, we want trophies, however, give the man one more season to complete his project. Yes, yes, I know, second place sucks, but please stand tall and strong behind the manager this season.

If he fails to win trophies this season, I will probably join the Arteta Out! ranks myself.

Enjoy the weekend!
