Harrison Armstrong will be hoping to impress David Moyes at Everton during pre-season after a successful loan spell at Derby County.
The 18-year-old joined the Rams in the winter transfer window until the end of the 2024/25 campaign and helped John Eustace’s team avoid relegation from the Championship.
It isn’t surprising to see that Derby want Armstrong back this summer after he played a pivotal role for them towards the end of last season.
The Finch Farm graduate wants to return to Pride Park, and the English Youngster may get that chance after the Scottish manager evaluates him.

Everton haven’t ruled out Armstrong loan transfer as Moyes has a look at him during summer series
Armstrong could leave the Toffees on loan again this summer, according to Burton Mail.

The news outlet reports in its print edition (11 July, page 37) that the Blues haven’t ruled out sending the 18-year-old on another temporary move ahead of next season.

It’s been claimed that Moyes wants to take a closer look at the midfielder during pre-season, and the Englishman will likely be involved in the Merseyside outfit’s summer series in the United States.
The Scottish manager has lost a lot of depth from his squad due to multiple players’ contracts expiring, and it makes sense to keep the youngster for now.

Moyes will have Idrissa Gueye at his disposal for next season after there were some concerns about his deal being extended.
The Scottish manager has already lost some key players from last season, after the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure bid farewell at Goodison Park.

Moyes has called up a bunch of academy players for the pre-season tour as he has only 15 senior players available at the moment, and fans will be eager to see whether Armstrong or any of the other youngsters catch the eye.
