Myles Turner Sends Heartfelt Message To Pacers

Myles Turner gave it his all during his ten years with the Indiana Pacers, but now it’s time for him to move on.

Turner is headed to the Milwaukee Bucks, but he wanted to send a heartfelt goodbye message to the Pacers fans who cheered him on for years.

In a social media post, Turner sent his love to Indiana and said the city and its fanbase will always hold a special place in his heart.

“Thank you Indy, from the bottom of my heart. I mean it when I say The 317 will always be home. And I’ve been proud to call myself a Hoosier! I hope you continue to embrace me as much as I’ve always embraced you! See you soon,” Turner wrote in his message.

Despite numerous rumors over the years, the Pacers are the only team that Turner has ever played for.

During his ten seasons in Indiana, Turner averaged 15.6 points and 6.5 rebounds.

2024-25 was a huge season for the Pacers, and they went all the way to the NBA Finals.

Even though they didn’t beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, a lot of people thought the roster would remain mostly the same next year.

Of course, Tyrese Haliburton’s injury changed everything, and the front office got nervous.

They also became worried about the money they were spending and going into the luxury tax for the first time in years.

Perhaps that is why they let Turner walk away.

Whatever the reason, fans are still upset with Turner’s departure, and it’ll be some time before they are fully adjusted.

Now he will try his luck with the Bucks, but Turner will always fondly remember his time in Indiana and the loyal fans who were by his side.
