Bronny James is preparing for his next NBA season and shouting out his girlfriend Parker Whitfield along the way as she soaks up the summertime sun.
The Los Angeles Lakers guard, 20, took to Instagram, commenting, "My girlfriend!" beneath a carousel of Whitfield's images showing off her favorite summer highlights, including trips to the pool and beach.
Whitfield, a Spelman College student, responded, "hi babe!!" The duo has been publicly linked since last summer and attended the same high school — Sierra Canyon — in southern California, PEOPLE previously reported.
In October 2024, Bronny James made his NBA debut with the Lakers, playing alongside his legendary dad LeBron and becoming part of the first father-son pair to play together in the league's history.

Earlier this month, the younger James said he's focusing on himself ahead of next season rather than on what his father, who has spent more than two decades in the NBA, will be up to, as rumors swirl that LeBron will leave the Lakers.
"We don't really talk about it much," Bronny told reporters on Wednesday, July 2. "I think when stuff like that does come up, he just tells me to not worry about it, to not even pay attention to it [and] just lock into what you have going on right now. And that's what's going to get me better and to keep me focused. I think it's good that he tells me to not pay attention to that stuff."
