As the team attempts to recover in their first full season under Ruben Amorim, Manchester United’s summer transfer market is expected to be crucial.

The Red Devils have officially completed the signing of Matheus Cunha and are pushing for the signing of Bryan Mbeumo.

The INEOS hiring approach also looks for individuals who can lead the Red Devils of the future in addition to making an immediate contribution to the senior group.

The Red Devils have also added players like Diego Leon, Sekou Kone, Enzo Kana-Biyik, and Chido Obi, who will be progressively included into the senior team’s plans to become the club’s future.

With Chido Obi receiving a new shirt number in recent days too, the club will look to the youth to aid them in what will be a challenging season.

Additionally, the Red Devils recently signed Southampton’s gifted Harley Emsden-James.

It looks like Manchester United will try to soon add another player to their growing pool of talent by using this recruitment approach.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Manchester United are the current frontrunners in the race for Fulham and England U17 captain Seth Ridgeon.

Fulham are actively working hard to try and get Ridgeon to commit long-term, as well as numerous top Premier League clubs pushing to catch his signature.

The 16-year-old midfielder is held in high regard internally at Manchester United, with the club holding strong interest in him.

Club scouts have been following him for a while now.

He has represented England up to the U17 level to date, and he is also eligible for Sri Lanka.

Ridgeon made his debut for the U18 squad on 26 August 2023, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4-3 win over Leicester City U18 at Motspur Park

His signing could be beneficial for United’s future as they aim to build long-term under this new INEOS project.
