Jadon Sancho is closing in on a move to Juventus after a €20 million (£17.3m) deal was agreed with Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.
United have been looking to offload Sancho this summer after Chelsea turned down the chance to sign the winger for £25 million and paid a £5m penalty fee to send him back to Old Trafford.
Sancho had reached a verbal agreement with Napoli last month but the Serie A champions refused to meet United’s €25m (£21.3m) asking price.
According to La Stampa, Juventus had a ‘positive’ meeting with United this week over a deal for Sancho and a €20m (£17.3m) package has been agreed.
The report claims that Sancho has also agreed a contract with Juventus worth just over €6m (£5.2m) a year.

Sancho has informed United about his desire to move this summer and the club have told the winger that he did not have to report back to pre-season training this week.
Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony, Tyrell Malacia have also been granted additional time to resolve their futures, although Rashford made a surprise return to Carrington on Monday.
Sancho, who still has a year remaining on his contract with United which is worth £300,000 a week, made the move to Old Trafford in a £73m deal from Borussia Dortmund four years ago.
Dortmund have also been linked with Sancho this summer but the Bundesliga club have distanced themselves from a move.
‘Of course, contact with Jadon is always there, in some way, because we have a very long history,’ Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, told Ruhr Nachrichten.
‘But that’s not an issue for us right now. We have other priorities at the moment, and that’s why the Sancho issue may have been more talked about in the media than internally.’
