Ruben Amorim knows he has a massive job ahead of him, to lead the Red Devils as they bounce back from their worst season of the Premier League era.

The club are some way off their previous level of success felt under Sir Alex Ferguson, routinely competing for, if not winning the Premier League, and battling it out in the Champions League.

However since Ferguson retired from the role of Manchester United manager, the Red Devils have had a slow, yet consistent fall from grace.

Now, INEOS are backing Amorim as the man to turn things around, having changed the landscape at Sporting CP, winning their first Liga Portugal title in 19 years.

Over his four and a half year spell in the Portuguese capital, Amorim led Sporting to win five tournaments including two league titles and three domestic cups.

Now, heading into his first pre-season and first full season with United, the 40-year-old is attempting to restore The Red Devils, and he isn’t messing around.

Sam C has taken to X to report that Amorim and his coaching staff handed a “personalised conditioning programme” to every United player who has the chance of playing next season.

This includes all of the regular first team players and selected youth prospects who could get their debuts throughout the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

It’s understood that Ruben Amorim and his backroom staff spent significant time and effort over the plans, making sure to get them right for each person specifically.

The aim of the plans are to try and prevent injury and to ensure the club could hit the ground running when everyone returned for the pre-season.

🚨 SOURCES: Every Manchester United player – first team and selected youth who have a chance of making a debut next season – were handed a personalised conditioning programme over the break. Not unusual, but Ruben Amorim and his staff were meticulous with it this time.
