Serbian forward signs a NBA contract in the East

Nikola Djurisic has signed a contract with the Atlanta Hawks for the next season, team officially announced.

According to the official statement of the Atlanta Hawks, Nikola Djurisic signed a professional NBA contract with them.

Djurisic saw action in 32 total games (three starts) with the College Park Skyhawks during the 2024-25 NBA G League season, averaging 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 22.8 minutes.

The No. 43 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Atlanta acquired Djurisic's draft rights in a three-team trade with Miami and Houston on June 27, 2024.

Djurisic's agent Misko Raznatovic also shared his happiness on his X profile:

"I can’t remember the last time signing a contract made me this happy! Nikola Djurisic is an NBA player! Another Mega’s gem will be competing in the best league in the world, and in the Atlanta Hawks jersey!"
