Manchester United are in talks to sign Fulham youth midfielder Seth Ridgeon and his Manchester City counterpart Tyrese Noubissie, according to The Athletic.
The 16-year-old duo have been invited for tours of facilities at Old Trafford and Carrington, and both director of football Jason Wilcox and first-team head coach Ruben Amorim spoke with them during the visit.
Noubissie, a 6ft 2in midfielder, who can play as a No 6 or No 8, is expected to leave Man City this summer due to limited playing opportunities, and the Red Devils are keen on recruiting his services.
Ridgeon is an attacking midfielder who has attracted the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, but Man United are believed to be in front of the queue for him.
However, Fulham are desperate to hold on to the England under-17 international captain, but their chances are slim after the Red Devils made an impressive proposal as they look to recruit some of the best skilled teenagers at British academies.
Man United have been aggressive in signing teenage players in recent seasons as they prepare for the future, and signing both Ridgeon and Noubissie could be huge given the number and calibre of clubs looking to snap them up.
Wilcox knows Noubissie as he was in charge of Man City’s academy when he was signed from Leicester City in 2023.
RB Leipzig and Strasbourg are both keen on him as he holds British and French passports, but remaining in England could be more appealing.
They will be joining the Man United youth ranks if they move, but Ridgeon could soon be training with the first-team should he impress having already featured for Fulham under-21s, who finished second in the Premier League 2 table last season.
