Noni Madueke looks set to become the second Chelsea player to sign for Arsenal this summer after goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The £50million deal between the two London giants is rubber-stamped and agreed and only subject to the winger's medical.

Madueke will miss Sunday's Club World Cup final against PSG as he is travelling back to the UK to put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

The proficient dribbler was born on Sunday 10, March 2002, just 24 hours after the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw at Newcastle in the FA Cup.

Ex-sporting director Edu gave Arsenal the lead at St.James' Park with a poked finish following Sylvain Wiltord's assist.

The Frenchman dazzled Toon's left-back before centering for the Brazilian in the box.

It wasn't enough though as Laurent Robert forced the tie into a replay which the Londoners won 3-0.

But should Madueke deliver Wiltord's Tyneside goods on a regular basis it will undoubtedly be money well spent for the north Londoners by 2030, the year his contract expires.

His ability to play on both flanksand go both ways with the ball at his feet certainly makes him a rare breed in a day and age when most wingers predictably cut inside.
