Arsenal are refusing to engage in talks with Chelsea over Ethan Nwaneri after the Blues expressed an interest in the wonderkid during the talks over Noni Madueke.
Chelsea are willing to offer 'important money,' according to Fabrizio Romano, but Arsenal are resisting the 'temptation' of cashing in on their homegrown prospect.
Arsenal held fresh talks with Nwaneri's camp this week and are now confident of securing the youngster's signature on a new long-term contract.

As expected, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres is refusing to turn up to pre-season training as he continues to push for a transfer to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been in constant dialogue with the Portuguese side to agree a transfer fee for the Sweden international, with Sporting still demanding around €80m.
Gyokeres' no-show has increased the desire of all parties to find a swift resolution, and only a small gap remains between the two clubs on his valuation.

Rodrygo will hold clear-the-air talks with Xabi Alonso over the next week and then decide whether to pursue a transfer away, with Arsenal ready to pounce.

Arsenal have reached a full agreement with Chelsea to sign winger Noni Madueke for a fee in the region of €58 million, with the player now travelling to England for his medical.
Madueke will not take part in the Club World Cup final with Chelsea and is set to pen a long-term contract with Arsenal in a move that hasn't particularly gone down well.
A petition to stop the deal has garnered several thousand signatures, with some Arsenal fans clearly not happy about the club signing another Chelsea player.
