Everton announce Goodison staple closure

**Everton have announced a Goodison Park staple is set to close its doors.**

The club’s official megastore on Walton Lane has been a one-stop shop for fans since the mid-1990s when it opened during Peter Johson’s premiership.

But the Blues confirmed on Friday that Everton One will shut for the last time at 4pm on Sunday (July 13) ahead of relocating to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

A new store in the East Stand at Bramley-Moore Dock is undergoing a full fit-out and due to be operational in time for the new Premier League season.

Everton Women will take up residents of Goodison ahead of the new WSL campaign and are set to have an on-site retail offering for their home games.

Meanwhile David Moyes’ side have sold out their entire allocation for next month’s opening game at Hill Dickinson Stadium against AS Roma.

A friendly with the Serie A giants, who are also owned by The Friedkin Group, will be followed by a match-up between ‘legends’ teams from both clubs.

Everton legend Peter Reid will oversee the hosts’ line-up while former England boss Fabio Capello is confirmed to take charge of the Giallorossi.
