Manchester United have been dealt a slight blow as Fenerbahce are no longer in the race for one of their want-aways this summer.

The Red Devils are desperate to make sales, with four big-name attackers set to leave the club, having no place in Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho have all returned to Old Trafford after loan spells away from the club last season however are set for sale by United.

Alongside them, Alejandro Garnacho has also been listed due to a breakdown in the relationship between him and Amorim.

As such, United are trying to cash in on all four to bring much-needed funds to the club to make the new signings they need to bounce back next season.

Unfortunately though, The Red Devils are yet to make a single sale this summer, with a longer wait now potentially on the cards as Fenerbahce walk away from Marcus Rashford.

Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho reportedly contacted his former player recently regarding a move, however, Marca has now revealed that the Turkish side are no longer interested.

Thankfully for United, it won’t have too much of an impact, with Barcelona seemingly front-runners to sign the England international.

As such, a sale to Fenerbahce appears to be more of a Plan B for United, with super-agent Pini Zahavi currently meeting with Barcelona officials Hansi Flick and Joan Laporta in the Spanish city to work on the move.

It’s understood that Marcus Rashford is keen for a move to the LaLiga champions, with him already willing to take a 40% pay decrease from around £325,000 per week to £200,000 per week to get the deal across the line.
