Everton are considering a move for PSV winger Johan Bakayoko this summer.
The Toffees’ summer business finally got underway on Wednesday (July 9) with confirmation of Thierno Barry’s arrival from Villarreal, adding to Carlos Alcaraz’s loan move being made permanent.
That kick-started what Everton fans hope will be a busy few weeks at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as the countdown to next season begins.
David Moyes is preparing to refresh his squad amid a push for the top half of the Premier League to mark the first season at their new home.

Everton approach PSV for Bakayoko
Right-wing is a major issue for Everton right now and a new player in that area should be on the hitlist for this summer.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Jack Harrison has returned to Leeds United following two years on loan and Jesper Lindstrom has returned to Napoli.
There has been talk of an Everton return for Harrison, but the Englishman scored just one goal last season and would be an uninspiring move for the Toffees.
The 28-year-old, who has won two Eredivisie titles with PSV, also has three years remaining on his deal at Elland Road, and Leeds would require a fee to let him go.
That has led Everton to assess other targets, and according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano via X (July 11), the Merseyside club are among several sides to have made contact with Dutch side PSV over a possible move for Bakayoko.

Bakayoko has been prolific for PSV
The Belgian’s contract expires next year, and he could be available for around £17million, plus add-ons.
Bakayoko has been on the radar of Premier League clubs for a number of years, with Brentford and Arsenal among the clubs previously linked with a move for the winger.
Predominantly a right-sided forward, the 22-year-old scored 12 goals for PSV last season, including a goal against Liverpool in the Champions League.
RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are also among the clubs to make approaches for Bakayoko, according to Romano.

Bakayoko move would be a brilliant market opportunity
Bakayoko has been a known name in European football for several years.
The winger has starred for PSV for two seasons running, as they won the Eredivisie back-to-back under the management of Peter Bosz.
With electric pace and ruthless finishing, Bakayoko should be a prime candidate for the right side of Everton’s attack.
