It has been a very rough tournament for Asencio, who will have to regroup and work hard if he wants to keep competing for relevant minutes when the 2025-26 season kicks off in August.

Asencio emerged as a key player for Real Madrid during the second half of the season, but his recent performances for the team have been a concern and the club could be monitoring the market in search of another center-back, according to reports.
