**West Ham are still in the dark surrounding Lucas Paqueta and the betting allegations, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
Despite many rumours circulating online that Paqueta was set to be found not guilty by the FA, our insider has provided clarity over the current state of play.
“There has been rumours floating round social media that Lucas Paqueta has been found innocent of all charges,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“Reports doing the rounds including one that quoted former Everton CEO
Keith Wyness who apparently said:
“My sources say the case is now closed and Paquetá will be acquitted”.
“Of course many accounts have also tried to jump the gun on this as they usually do, so we decided to put the question to our top source at the club.
“They exclusively revealed when asked the question if the club had heard about him being proven innocent:
“Sadly, no more than rumours. It would help us to know as we need to plan”.
Ex however has advised there there is a belief within the club that the Brazil star could well be found not guilty, that still is not known at this stage.
“There is a feeling within the club that Paqueta will hopefully be proven innocent but this is still yet to come.
“This doesn’t necessarily mean even if proven innocent he will play for the club again. There are a number of clubs from Brazil including Flamengo (his old club) and from across Europe including the Premier League.”
