Fulham and Burnley are among the clubs from the Premier League to have shown interest in KRC Genk’s Tolu Arokodare.
The striker has starred for the Jupiler Pro League side last season, scoring 23 goals and registering seven assists from 45 games.
Het Laatste Nieuws state Fulham and Burnley have already asked about the 24-year-old, without specifying whether they contacted his camp, Genk or both.
The two English clubs have to be wary of competition from AC Milan as they have set their sights on him.
Milan have also made contact for the Nigeria international and he’s open to joining them.
Arokodare has two years left on his contract, but the report states it’s given that the Genk top score will leave this summer. That’s because the Belgian club have an agreement with him to sanction a move as long as their fee demand is met.
HLN state Genk are aiming for the frontman to be their new club-record sale. The current record is at €25m, which they collected from selling Sander Berge to Sheffield United in January 2020.
Fulham and Burnley may be able to offer more than €25m for Arokodare, but they first have step up to get ahead of Milan in the transfer race.
