According to a report from [**L’Équipe**](https://kiosque.lequipe.fr/data/1223/reader/reader.html#!preferred/0/package/1223/pub/1223/page/13/alb/49364), Paris Saint-Germain’s move for Bournemouth centre-back Illia Zabarnyi (22) has currently stalled. Negotiations between the Premier League club and the UEFA Champions League winners are at a standstill.
For an agreement to be reached, it will require another financial push from Les Parisiens, **L’Équipe** understands. However, PSG are currently unwilling to meet the financial demands of the English club and Zabarnyi’s entourage in order to secure the services of the 22-year-old defender for next season.
#### Club World Cup Winnings
The Ligue 1 champions have already secured a substantial windfall this summer through their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup. After reaching the final, PSG have secured €90m in prize money. If the capital club emerge victorious against Chelsea, this total will increase by a further €33.9m, and may force them to rethink their stance to secure the services of the Ukrainian international.
