**As West Ham’s slow transfer window continues, our insider ExWHUEmployee has provided an update on Michail Antonio & Guido Rodriguez.**
Antonio, who is currently not under contract at the club, is still working on his fitness at the clubs training facilities with the Academy, with a standoff still ongoing regarding an offer that was made to the player by the club.
“It appears that Antonio has yet to accept West Ham’s deal and believes he should be offered more,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“Currently he has his rehabilitation still paid for by West Ham and is training with the under 21 team.
“There is a chance depending on whether he can prove his fitness and how the transfer window goes that we could offer an alternative deal but at the moment this is yet to happen.
“Antonio is still said to be looking for a higher paid deal than he has currently been offered by West Ham.”
Furthermore Ex provided clarity on Guido Rodriguez, with reports online suggesting an offer had been made for the former Real Betis midfielder.
“There have also been reports this morning that we have received a £2m offer for Guido Rodriquez from Tigres in Mexico.
“This has also been denied by the club in a very to the point message. “No truth”.”
