There has been some reports in the media which have claimed that Manchester United could be handed a golden opportunity to land Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic for free this summer transfer window.
Man United had one of the clubs worst Premier League seasons in history, they finished well down the League and also failed to win any trophies, despite changing managers half way through the season.
This summer gives Ruben Amorim the chance to sign a few players that will get the club challenging for the Champions League places this summer once again, and adding a new striker to that attack is something that Amorim really needs.
SunSport understand Vlahovic is high on United’s list of targets and they could even get him for free, with Juve reportedly willing to rip up his contract.
According to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri are looking to cut the striker’s £20million-a-year wages. And the Italian giants may even be up for cancelling his contract altogether.
Meetings are scheduled to take place next week with several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal.
IcFootballnews Says…
The squad that Manchester United have, they shouldnt have been well down the League last season, they do have some world class players. But in front of goal they need to improve, they need to add some more quality.
If the reports are true and Man United have the opportunity to land Vlahovic for Free, it would be a great signing for the club as the big man has all the ability to play in the Premier League and score goals.
They missed out on signing Viktor Gyokeres, they definitely need to delve into that transfer kitty to add a new striker before the close of the transfer window.
