Leeds United have spent just over £30million in the transfer market this summer. The club have been very meticulous with their targets and fees.
The Whites even backed out of a move for Habib Diarra because Strasbourg were asking for too much. Smart business has been done so far; four players from top leagues in Europe for £30million with more room for new faces.

On the other side, there have not been many exits. Outside Junior Firpo leaving as a free agent, the club have barely seen deals out of the door. This comes as a bit of a surprise after reports early in June that the club had planned to offload a host of names.
Some of the players mentioned were Illan Meslier, Darko Gyabi, Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt.

Who has Leeds United sold so far?
The club has seen one departure, on a temporary deal; Max Wober joined Werder Bremen on a season-long loan with an option to buy. Reports initially suggested a permanent deal, but Leeds decided to restructure the deal due to PSR.
So now, any loss they get on the sale of the Austrian is move to next year’s books.
Paul Robinson thinks there should be more exits

Former Leeds man Paul Robinson thinks that if the team is to stand a chance in the Premier League, there need to be more exits this summer.
“If a goalkeeper is brought in, I think Illan Meslier will move on. I think it’s needed for him as well. He needs a fresh start as well as Leeds need a fresh start.” he said speaking to MOT Leeds News.
“I think, potentially, Matteo Joseph could be one that moves on, as much as I like him. I think he’s a good player. There were bids that came in for him in January. Patrick Bamford will be another one.
“People forget about Jack Harrison. He’s come back from Everton but he obviously doesn’t fit with a manager. So I’m surprised that Everton haven’t made that move permanently. Leeds paid £10 million for him. Whether they get the same type of money in return, I’m not sure.
“Sam Greenwood is another who could leave as is Joe Gelhardt. So that’s at least six with Bamford, Joseph, Harrison and Meslier, where the manager’s probably willing to cut the cloth.”
The case for these six players
Robinson names Meslier, Joseph, Bamford, Harrison, Gelhardt and Greenwood as the players that should leave.
Out of the six, the only player that should remain at Elland Road is Mateo Joseph; he is too good to let go of. His potential is immense, and he has shown he can play a part to help the first team.
Outside the Spaniard, arguably every player needs to be sold. Players like Bamford and Harrison are huge wages that the club can do moving off the books. The likes of Gelhardt and Greenwood can be sold for profit.
