Juventus make Marcus Rashford their No.1 transfer target.
Rashford Edges Closer to Old Trafford Exit
Juventus have set their sights on Marcus Rashford as their main man ahead of the upcoming season.
The Manchester Utd forward has been training away from the first team. He is said to be pushing hard for a move after a poor spell under new boss Ruben Amorim.
The Englishman has made it clear that he’s ready to move on and start fresh elsewhere. Juve believe he could be a key figure in their squad rebuild. The Italian giants are eager to wrap up the deal before pre-season, especially with Barcelona also circling.
Barca are reportedly watching Rashford closely while also weighing up other targets like Mason Greenwood and Rafael Leao. But Juve see Rashford as the perfect fit to help them challenge Napoli for the Serie A crown next season.
Juventus Push While United Seek Quick Resolution
Meanwhile, Man Utd are open to letting Rashford leave. But, they only want a permanent transfer. The club is looking to raise funds and clear high wages off the books, which makes a straight sale ideal. However, the winger’s large wages may be an issue for Juve and their hopes of a possible loan move.
Rashford finished last season on loan at Aston Villa. The Midlands club opted against a permanent deal, at least in part because they did not have Champions League football. Juve are looking to rebound after an underwhelming 2022/23 season. They believe Rashford offers a new attacking thrust to their team with his speed, experience and hunger to prove people wrong.
The England international, however, is still dreaming about making into the 2026 World Cup squad.. That is the reason he has been putting in the hard yards. He is privately training and is preparing for the major bounce-back.
