Manchester United’s pre-season training squad has seen a handful of Carrington’s finest alongside the first-team.
Ruben Amorim as a manager is a big believer in youth and giving academy players a chance.
Amorim proved this at Sporting CP where he made 27 academy debuts over his four years in charge, including some big names such as Chelsea bound Geovany Quenda.
Since taking charge of Manchester United, this trend has continued, with Amorim giving three academy players a debut, in the form of Chido Obi, Harry Amass and Tyler Fredricson.
These three are expected to be involved with the first team next season, while there are a number of talents hoping to join them.
Already this summer it is clear who Amorim sees as the ‘next ones up’ for United, with Reece Munro featuring in pre-season training alongside the seniors. But two academy talents in particular have impressed.
