3 Ex-Detroit Lions Coaches (Yes, Matt Patricia is One) Make CBS Sports List of Worst 25 NFL Hires This Century

Matt Patricia comes in at #9.

The Detroit Lions' Dan Campbell is one of the best coaches in the NFL. The players love him and he's built a winning culture. So, obvioiusly he didn't make CBS Sports' Top 25 worst NFL coaching hires this century.

But if you guessed that ex-Lions coach Matt Patrica, who came from the New England Patriots and served as coach from 2018 to 2020, made the list, you would be right. His record with the Lions was 13-29-1, not to mention the players didn't like him. He was #9 on the list.

Two other former Lions coaches who made the list: Marty Mornhinweg (# 7), with a 5-27, record from 2001-2002, and Rod Marinelli (#10), who was with the team from 2006-2008 and compiled a record of 10-38, with one season going 0-16.For Patricia, CBS Sports writes:
