West Ham United’s transfer business is beginning to pick up speed following Mohammad Kudus’ departure.

Graham Potter is facing a major overhaul of his squad after a disappointing 14th place finish in the Premier League last season.

Kudus has departed the London Stadium for rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a £55million deal, giving Potter a major financial windfall to bolster his side.

Here, West Ham Zone rounds up the latest from the London Stadium from the past 24 hours.

Juventus suggest a loan deal for Douglas Luiz

Douglas Luiz has endured a miserable time at Juventus since arriving last summer, and West Ham are looking to give him an escape route.

It has been reported that Juventus are in talks with West Ham over a deal for Luiz.

The Italian giants are unwilling to let the Brazilian go for anything less than £34.5m, but are willing to compromise on a loan deal.

Juventus want £8.6m for a loan deal, with an obligation to buy for between £21.6m and £25.9m based of certain conditions.

West Ham want a discount on the fee, and negotiations remain ongoing to find a solution.

West Ham to bid in coming days for El Hadji Malick Diouf

El Hadji Malick Diouf could be set to join Luiz at the London Stadium next season.

Senegal international Diouf has been frozen out of training to avoid injury, with Slavia Prague manager Jindrich Trpisovsky expecting the move to happen.

Trpisovsky said: “He is a player who has extraordinary quality, he will have it in the future.

“It is necessary that Slavia’s demands are satisfied. We take it as if we are without him.”

West Ham are set to return with an improved bid for Diouf, but do not want to be dragged into a bidding war.

West Ham could bring in AC Milan’s Yunus Musah in double deal

With Tomas Soucek potentially on his way out, Yunus Musah could be another midfielder to come through the door at the London Stadium.

It has been reported that Musah is set to leave San Siro this summer, and former Brentford and Leicester manager Martin Allen suggests the American could signal a double signing in East London.

Allen told West Ham Zone: “I wouldn’t know exactly what his wages are, but I do know that he is mobile, athletic, and West Ham do need someone like him.

“The team lacks athleticism, they are too slow to get around the pitch and are one of the oldest teams in the Premier League.

“Young players with pace and those sorts of attributes, they need at least two this summer to turn things around.

“Finances are tight after spending a huge amount last season, so there will be concern.

“*What will it cost to get Musah in? What is the cost of staying in the Premier League?*“

Hammers interested in James McAtee after Kudus departure

West Ham could be set to use the Kudus funds on Manchester City star James McAtee.

It has been reported that West Ham are interested in McAtee’s services this summer.

Nottingham Forest also hold interest in the attacking midfielder, with City valuing him at around the same fee they received for Cole Palmer, who joined Chelsea for £40m.
