Wolves are set for a busy summer transfer window with players set to walk through the door at Molineux, with fans having been hopeful Archie Brown would have been one, while others will depart.
Archie Brown had been a player high on the list of players the club were looking to acquire, with fans beginning to get excited about his potential signature.
There have already been a number of changes to Vitor Pereira’s squad, as Matheus Cunha departed for Manchester United, while the club managed to acquire the services of Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo.
As the squad are currently in Portugal for pre-season training, there is hope business can be done before their arrival back in England ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

Archie Brown explains why he snubbed AC Milan and Wolves
The English fullback had been of interest to a number of clubs across Europe, with Fenerbahçe winning the race to sign Brown for a fee of £6.5 million.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on X, formerly Twitter, while also sharing the reason why the defender opted to move to Turkey.
He said: “The deal was basically done with AC Milan. I was ready to go. But then, I got a call from the Fenerbahçe president overnight. That changed everything.

Brown would have been viewed as an option to replace Rayan Aït-Nouri, who left the club to join Manchester City.
Another option Wolves could explore to replace Ait-Nouri
Rayan Aït-Nouri had been a key left-back at Wolves during his five years at the club, with the first season being on loan.
Wolves are desperate to replace him with a player of quality, as Ait-Nouri was so important for the club being able to create and score and being solid in defence too.

Fans were begging the club to bring in El Hadji Malick Diouf earlier in the summer window, and he is still available to be acquired from Slavia Prague despite the interest from West Ham.
He would be a fantastic addition, bringing competition to the position after Wolves welcomed Hugo Bueno back from his loan spell with Feyenoord.
