Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has picked up an injury

Manchester United have been rocked by an injury picked up by goalkeeper Andre Onana.

The Cameroon international has picked up a hamstring injury and, according to reports in he is set to miss United's pre-season tour of the USA.

It means Altay Bayindir, who has failed to convince when deputising for Onana, will be the club's number one goalkeeper in the USA, with third choice and fourth choice Radek Vitek their other options.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has attracted interest from United and is said to be available for around £6million this summer.

He would likely be a number two, rather than a number one, if he joined United but the 29-year-old is a Copa Libertadores and a Brazilian league winner with Botafogo and impressed in the Club World Cup this summer.

Aaron Ramsdale

Ramsdale is an England international and will be open to a move to keep his place in the Three Lions' squad after Southampton's relegation from the Premier League.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper only joined the Saints last summer for £25million and the 27-year-old has three years remaining on his current deal at St Mary's.
