Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has taken to social media to send a clear message amid ongoing transfer talk linking him with a move away from the club.
Hojlund, 22, scored just five Premier League goals last season and has reportedly been attracting summer interest from Inter Milan and various other Italian clubs.
The last update provided was that Hojlund wishes to stay and fight for his place under Ruben Amorim next season, despite United's wishes to bring in a new centre forward.
Various reports claim his switch to Italy is said to be on 'standby' with talks over his future set to take place before the end of the summer window.
A loan move looks to be out of the question, too, with Laurie Whitwell recently stating how United would prefer a permanent sale above all, should his time at the club come to an end.
Having been granted a later return to Carrington last week, Hojlund worked out in front of the cameras and subsequently took to Instagram upon his arrival.
"Hello. It’s good to be back," wrote the former Atalanta man on social media. Amorim and United have abeen linked with moves in the market for the likes of Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres, with Matheus Cunha the only senior summer addition so far.
A move for Bryan Mbeumo continues to be talked up, with Ineos having seen two bids rejected for the Brentford star so far. It feels like a frustrating summer on the surface for the Reds, but there's a clear need to strengthen Amorim's squad after a dismal campaign.
Hojlund's future for now remains uncertain, but the Dane will want to mark his third season with success and already has an FA Cup win under his belt. His comments on social media make it clear his full focus is on preparing for next season with United.
