A busy summer has got even tougher at Manchester United with the news of an untimely Andre Onana injury.
The Red Devils No.1 is expected to be out for between five to six weeks with a hamstring injury suffered during training at Carrington.

That timeline takes Onana out of the entirety of pre-season and potentially their season opener against Arsenal and beyond.
Ruben Amorim and club executives will now have to decide whether to dip back into the transfer market in a position that was already a concern during the 2024/25 campaign.
United were set to enter the new season with Onana backed up by Altay Bayindir and veteran Tom Heaton as a third choice option.
That combination wasn’t exactly stellar last season with Onana dropped after two glaring errors against Lyon in the Europa League quarter finals.

Bayindir made ten appearances as a back-up, but failed to impress like the rest of his teammates, playing his part in the club’s worst-ever Premier League campaign.
Yet despite the goalkeeping position being one of concern for United, Amorim and club executives have clearly had their focuses elsewhere.
The forward position has become a priority with Matheus Cunha signed from Wolves for £62.5million.
A deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo to partner him upfront is still ongoing despite the club earlier booking in a medical raising hopes among fans that negotiations were at the finish line.
Despite seemingly having a clear idea of what their plans are up front, United have still experienced little movement in the market compared to what was expected.
Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Johnny Evans have all left at the end of their contracts after unremarkable campaigns.

But further expected departures have yet to come to fruition.
Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho have both been left out of the club’s US pre season tour but don’t appear to be any closer to leaving.
Meanwhile, reports in Italy continue to link Rasmus Hojland with a Serie A return to Roma.
talkSPORT earlier reported Amorim is keen to shed the Dane but keep fellow goal-shy forward Joshua Zirkzee.
All of this shows how unhelpful the latest distraction in goal is, but it’s not as if the club haven’t already had eyes on switching things up in goal.
Porto’s Diogo Costa has long been linked to the club, and more recently Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez, who’s yet to find a new home after his teary farewell to the club.

Manchester United face a trio of Premier League clubs when they get to the United States.
They face rivals Leeds United on Saturday, July 19, before clashes with West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton.
And ahead of the new campaign they will also play Fiorentina on August 9 at Old Trafford.
