Wolves will kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Manchester City on August 16, but before then, there is plenty of work to be done in the transfer window.
After pocketing close to £100 million combined for Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri, Wolves have only made one new signing, the £19.5 million capture of Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo.
Lopez adds some much-needed quality in the number 10 role, but Vitor Pereira still needs to bolster several positions.
Wolves need replacements for Ait-Nouri and Cunha, as well as reinforcements at right wing-back, left wing-back, central midfield, attacking midfield and striker.
As it stands, Wolves are closing in on two more signings, but one current player has urged Fosun to get a move on with their business.

Tom King fires warning towards Fosun as Wolves require more signings
Last summer, the Wanderers offloaded Max Kilman and Pedro Neto, two crucial players that weren’t replaced.
There are fears that something similar could happen this summer, even with Wolves transforming their recruitment team, as fourth-choice goalkeeper Tom King has fired a warning towards Fosun and ordered them to replace the quality that has been sold.
“It’s a big summer for the club. Hopefully, we can get some players who are going to help us next year and be a part of the family that we’re trying to build in there,” King told the E&S.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
“The manager is big on being like a band of brothers. So if we can get people in that want to embrace that and want to get a part of what we’re building here as Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, then I’m all for it.
“But we can’t accept that we’re just going to lose a lot of quality and not bring any in. We hope that the club is being active in the transfer window.
“We need help, we know that. We started the season, we had a couple of injuries and we looked short. Hopefully we can get a good squad together next year and really push on.”
Although the former Northampton Town shot stopper has never made an appearance for Wolves, Pereira has praised King’s leadership skills previously, emphasising his importance in the dressing room.
In his instance, the 30-year-old realises that Wolves need bodies through the door; otherwise, it’s impossible to imagine any progression being made.
What Wolves need to have a successful season
King is hopeful that a successful recruitment strategy can see Wolves challenge towards the European places in 2025/26, having previously battled against relegation.
To show they mean business, Wolves need to sign a right-back to replace Nelson Semedo, who is still deciding where his future lies.
A left-back is also required to challenge Hugo Bueno, while a couple of deep-lying midfielders are needed to compete with Joao Gomes, Andre and Marshall Munetsi.
Likewise, Wolves need a technically gifted player, perhaps Jhon Arias, to fill the void of Cunha’s goals and assists.
And finally, a striker to come off the bench and create competition for Jorgen Strand Larsen is beneficial, with the likes of Hwang Hee-chan and Goncalo Guedes failing that remit.
