Liverpool are undergoing a massive revamp this summer.
The Reds have welcomed five new faces to Anfield and don’t look to be stopping there.
Indeed, the arrival of all these new players means that there’s likely to be some sales, but at the moment, only Jarell Quansah and Caoimhin Kelleher have been moved on from Liverpool’s first-team squad.

And, while the playing squad may be going through plenty of changes, that’s not the only area of Liverpool’s set-up that looks to be changing.
Liverpool are set to add Gary Probert to their backroom staff
Liverpool’s backroom staff have also undergone a massive revamp since the end of last season.
John Heitinga chose to leave his post as Arne Slot’s assistant manager and make his first attempt at managing a club after he chose to take up the head coach role at Ajax.
And now, according to a report from Ipswich centric website TWTD, it seems like the Reds are set to poach one of their members of staff.
Gary Probert, The Tractor Boys’ director of football operations, has now ‘left the club’ to join the Reds.

Probert’s role isn’t discussed in the report but over the coming days, it’s likely to be announced in due course.
Liverpool need to focus on selling some of their players this summer
Although adding new faces to bolster Slot’s ranks is all well and good, Richard Hughes and the Dutchman are going to have to have some difficult conversations about who they can sell.
Several members of Liverpool’s squad have been linked with an exit this summer with the likes of Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez the ones closest to an Anfield exit.
Harvey Elliott has also been mooted with a move away from L4 after his recent heroics in the Under-21 Euros for England.

Granted, there are still just under a couple of months left in the summer transfer window for deals to be made but if Slot does want to bring in some new faces, the speed of player sales needs to be increased.
Of course, only time will tell what the future has in store but for now, it’s anyone’s guess what could happen.
