But Valencia are justified in holding onto him as well. They realize how much he is worth. They realize that he will develop into a top player in La Liga. If he stays for another year, his value will increase even more.
Arsenal will try again later or maybe they will target someone else. Either way, they require depth at defence. This attempt did not gave a positive result. However, it indicates that Arsenal are planning ahead. They are not only purchasing names. They are observing genuine talent.
