It's never too early to get in on a prospect, especially when he has the talent of 2028 linebacker Kaiden Buchanan out of Tupelo (MS). High School.
Already standing at 6-feet, 220-pounds, Buchanan has racked up 18 offers from different programs around the country that include Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Florida State. That list now includes Oklahoma as Brent Venables and Nate Dreiling extended an offer to the talented prospect. Buchanan attended Brent Venables' camp a few weeks ago and, after putting his skills on notice, he walked away with the offer from the Sooners.
"The camp went good," Buchanan said. "I learned a lot of new things. And when they offered it, I was surprised. And I was excited, too."
